Oil saturation in an oil field can be determined in a partitioning inter-well tracer test (PITT), using specialized partitioning tracers. Ground-breaking development of partitioning tracers has provided RESMAN with a set of effective and field-proven oil/water partitioning tracers. Determination of oil saturation is obviously important to identify EOR-targets.
Used at an early stage of an injection program, a combination of several partitioning tracer can also provide information on fractional flow and saturations and thus provide saturations needed to determine asset value.
